Home Ownership, every person's dream! Here in America we probably are the world's leader in our citizenry being able to purchase and hopefully evenutually fully own the roof over their heads. I remember when I first started out with an apartment, 2 Bedroom that ran, now don't faint, $125 per month. Moving out of that into a rental home my financial obligation became $800 per month for a 4 Bedroom Family Style Home (2 children now added) and then it happened, my first home purchase of the home that I was currently leasing! Now my first experience with Home Ownership, carried a monthly outgo of $1200 per month, not counting of course property taxes! Four years later I traded up to the home I now reside in on a private country club (Golf Course View) home and life could not be better. But for most, that is NOT the case today! We are now riding one of the biggest BOOM markets in Real Estate and home's such as mine are now well over 1 Million Dollars and still climbing. This really puts a cramp on most families to acquire their first starter home as I did and more importantly the financial commitments that are associated with this ballooning housing market are daunting at best. Today, my guest has tackled these current issues and has come up with a very unique approach to Home Finance and there is no doubt in my mind that he is looking at one the most challenging arena's of the financial world today, which is Home Ownership. Creative Financing, Variable Interest Rates, Short Maturities, Yearly Renegotiated Mortgages (Depression Era Strategy), World War II GI Bill, Adjustable Rate, Hybrid and Sub Prime and dare I say Government Intervention??? The actions of the past are not enough for the challenges of the future! My guest today has come up with what I consider to be one of the most innovative approaches to acquiring Home Ownership with a tremendous amount of upside potential while at the same time, mitigating risk to such a degree that once you find out what he is up to, I think you will agree with me . . .The Future is NOW!
