Inflation Reduction Act? . . . A Rehashed BBB with YOU in mind

In November of 2021 there was a bill known as Build Back Better! The proposal was another 2.2 TRILLION of dollars to be spent on supposedly INFRASTRUCTURE. It passed the House of Representatives (No Surprise There) and it ran into a very BIG surprise when one of the Democrat's larger Senator's Joe Manchin said a resounding NO and the BBB (Biden's Business Bust) fizzled and faded from the country's memory. Unfortunately, it did not leave the memory of Senator Charles Schumer and along with his House Hammer, Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi they crafted a rehash of a far less spending facsimile that was created to the tune of 739 Billion Dollars. They dropped the T and went for the B in spending. What is more suspect however is that the Senator that blocked the passage of the former Build Back Better previous legislation now readily caved and eventually supported the now renamed BBB. Yes, everything including the NAME changed to the Inflation Reduction Act. I find it very interesting that the words are initials IRA, especially considering that earlier to the passage of this legislation, the SECURE Act 2.0 eliminated one of most advantageous distribution options of the Trillions of Dollars now invested in IRA's, which used to be known as The Stretch IRA which allowed for less tax impact by stretching out the distribution of the Pre Tax funds over a number of years. Now, that's GONE. Enter, the new IRA, the Inflation Reduction Act! What is in this new, now passed legislation and HOW is it going to effect YOU the Small Business community at large!
