During my career in the insurance business I had many business clients and not the least of these being Owner Operator Long Haul Truck Drivers. Their profession is not only highly skilled but essential to the economic sustainability of this nation. Products are worthless unless they can be transported to stores that market to the consumer. At one time a long haul truck driver could earn after expenses a good living for his family but today with rising costs, the owner operator ranks have shrunken to single digit representation of the industry. Gone are the Peterbuilt and Kenworth days of prosperity and stature.
