The player is loading ...

Seniors! An interesting term. It denotes thoughts such as aging, retirement and the slowing down of a previously active lifestyle. Now, the Baby Boomers, one of the largest birth generations are NOW those Seniors. It's really amazing to to contemplate this generation of Haight Ashbury, Free-Love, Communes, Kent State, Woodstock, Pot Parties and reviling one of the longest foreign wars that the US Military has ever undergone, Vietnam NOW being the next Senior Generation. I am one of these Seniors and have been involved with many of the above stated events and lifestyles. Yes, in fact I was a hippy and wore tie died t-shirts, long hair and dare I say drugs. Well enough of that. This generation now has become the following positive characteristics. First and foremost, one of the wealthiest generation of American's ever. In fact, 7 out of 10 Boomers own Small Businesses, the backbone of our economy and we are AGING fast. Also with this we have brought the following: Strong work ethic. Baby boomers aren't afraid to put in a hard day of work.Self-Assured. This generation is independent and self-assured. ..Competitive. Baby boomers like competition. Competitive. Baby boomers like competition. Resourceful. Mentally focused. Team oriented. Disciplined. This generation is not ending up; as it started out. Today, I will interview an entrepreneur, not a Baby Boomer but his family experienced a Senior Event in his life that prompted him to found the CA Senior Guide which has become a premier magazine publication, widely accepted in the Senior Community at large. We will find out what he is up to now and how Seniors are benefiting from his influence.
