A Look at Terrorism from the Inside Out

Although it has become predictable that a new terrorist attack will occur almost every day, it is still unpredictable exactly where the attack will occur. This makes us feel helpless and afraid, though our denial and our political correctness work against our seeing the reality. Today's guest, Mubin Shaikh, is co-author of the bestselling book, Undercover Jihadi and was one of two undercover counter terrorism operatives for the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) in the 2006 Toronto Terrorism case. He is an expert in Islam-associated radicalization, extremism and terrorism. Shaikh was born in Toronto, to Indian parents who had emigrated from the United Kingdom. He is a Sunni Muslim.
