Charming, Wise Bipolar Author Disrupts Stereotype

Whatever your impression is of Bipolar Disorder, today's guest, Kenton Hall, will disrupt it. We travel to the UK to chat with him about his new book and his life. His book, Bisection: A More or Less Accurate Account of Bipolar Parenting and Twin Wrangling, has been critically acclaimed. He writes that though there have been countless tomes on mental health and raising children, only his and Harry Potter have similar themes, and his story is shorter and contains fewer owls. His reason for writing it is not to give the reader self-help, and not only to entertain, but to help people to understand mental illness and to offer hope for others living with Bipolar Disorder. He gives an unflinching account of his life, from boyhood in Canada with a father eventually diagnosed as Manic-Depressive and being made to live in a cult, to his penniless flight to the UK, where his talents as an author, actor, musician, director and parent blossomed, as well as his Bipolar Disorder.
