Growth markets beyond the BRIC's: Emergence of N11 countries

Goldman Sachs identified the “Next 11” (N-11), countries in 2005, as the next in line to become economic powerhouses. The main criteria used to identify these countries was the stability of the countries’ politics and fiscal and monetary policy. The other factors were the amount of trade barriers each country imposed and Quality of education in each country. They have large growing young population. In future can these eleven countries become as influential as the BRIC’S, particularly in the investment sector, and acquire a significant share of global GDP. With their size and differences in these countries, will it be possible for the N-11 to cooperate as closely together as the BRIC’S and be the next source of growth of Global GDP.
