LA Unified School District's Commitment to Sustainability

The Los Angeles Unified School District is committed to becoming the most sustainable and environmentally-friendly large urban school district in the country. They have identified six sustainability focus areas: Energy conservation, water stewardship, education & awareness, high performance schools, campus ecology, and emerging technologies. The District is focused on three overarching sustainability goals: 100% Clean Energy, Climate Literacy for All, and Green Schools for All.
