Lasting Words

Lasting Words
Faced with the ultimate challenge of life—confronting death—how do we want to be remembered? Are there stories we want to tell? Experiences we want to share? Illuminations about how we've felt about life and why? Maybe we want to pass on family stories to the next generations. Perhaps we seek meaning and purpose and don’t know how to access them. It’s likely that we seek comfort and strength. We may even struggle to resolve long standing issues and heal our relationships, or reaching for a deeper spiritual connection. Claire Willis had supported people at the end of their lives to find a way to their own stories for many many years and felt moved to create a way to guide a larger number of people to express their legacy. Her book (with Marnie Crawford Samuelson), Lasting Words: A Guide to Finding Meaning Toward the Close of Life, is the wonderful result.
