Unfinished Conversation

How would you find your way through the pain and betrayal you would feel if you lost someone you loved to suicide? Robert Lesoine found his way through the agony of losing his closest friend; first by writing his pain into a journal and then, ultimately, by creating a book with Marilynne Chöphel, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in trauma. The result is Unfinished Conversation: Healing from Suicide and Loss - A Guided Journey, which weaves entries from Robert's journal with exercises and mindfulness suggestions Robert and Marilynne developed together, helping those left behind to move toward resolution and healing. Although suicide is a particular kind of loss, many of the meditations and exercises work for any kind of loss. If we can imagine healing from this most profound abandonment, can't we imagine healing from almost anything?
