 BIO:

Dr. Anuradha S. Veluswamy, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician. She earned her medical degree from PDU Medical College, India. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital in New York, where she also served as Chief Resident. After finishing her residency, she began her career as a Hospitalist at Southcoast Health, building over a decade of experience in comprehensive inpatient care. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Veluswamy serves as a Physician Advisor and is the Medical Director of Physician Advisors at Southcoast Health. She holds certification in CMPC (Care Management Physician Certification), reflecting her commitment to advancing quality, efficiency, and value-based care. She is also a Clinical Instructor, teaching medical students from UMass Chan Medical School, during their Internal Medicine rotation at Southcoast Health hospitals. Passionate about patient centered care, Dr. Veluswamy drives quality improvement initiatives and is deeply committed to mentoring the emerging professionals.
