The hiring process has transformed dramatically over the years, in large part due to technological advancements. Beyond just the rise of the internet, tools like video interviewing and interview scheduling software have helped to streamline the hiring process, saving both time and money and making a hiring manager’s life much easier. Before social media and the internet, a person looking for a position would send in a resume, and if they wanted to draw attention they used tricks like sending the resume in a sneaker with a note saying, “I would like get my foot in the door”. And then we all moved online. Applications became easy and efficient for the HR departments, but it also meant to me as a CEO I may be missing talent. So, in this digital hiring process, as an employer, how do I find the talent I need and as a job seeker how to I draw attention to myself?
