Why Diversity Matters?

We all intuitively know that diversity in the workplace matters, but we continue not to leverage the diverse talent pools available to us. We know that inclusive leadership should not just be associated with social responsibility, it should be considered common business sense because numerous studies have proved that diversity has a positive effect on the bottom line. In today’s Global economy, we cannot continue to ignore the fact that we do not have diversity in leadership. The gender and ethnic quotas in our leadership positions prove this as they do not reflect the market trends in the overall workforce. In our premier episode of Leadership Beyond Borders, we will not only look at why diversity matters, but what we must do to balance the scales now.
