Today, many people around the world participate in Christmas gift-giving and getting together with family and friends, even just for the fun of it. Whether you believe in a particular religious history or a set of tenets, it’s natural to seek community and camaraderie. And, any excuse for giving and celebrating is a good excuse, isn’t it? But, the purpose for this particular Holy Day is to celebrate the birth of the Christ, the Divine Consciousness, into this world, isn’t it? All that giving and community spirit is an expression of that Christ Consciousness. We are together birthing the awareness of the limitless and eternal oneness of life and of spirit into the world.
