GUILESSNESS AND LOVE
Guilessness is an ingredient of love. It is reflected in purity of thought, word and deed.
Lao Tzu quotes, "Watch your thoughts they become words. Watch your words they become actions. Watch your actions they become your habits. Watch your habits they become your character. Watch your character it becomes your destiny"
Guile breeds fear and discord. It manifests in acts of manipulation, deceit, envy, jealousy, covetousness and undermining others. Thoughts, feelings and actions reflect our inner state. Therefore, becoming aware of harsh destructive self-criticism and negative self-talk is essential to our overall wellbeing and how we relate to ourselves. Our inner being reflects outwardly to others and what we send out returns to back to us. From a pure and peaceful heart love flows.
To be guiless is to be loving, free and peaceful. Wishing goodwill towards yourself and others has lasting effects. Being honest, trustworthy and sincere, we do not mask and hide our intentions. The benefits include enhanced wellbeing and better relationships with ourselves and others. We can face ourselves guilt-free and return to our natural state of being that is pure love. This brings us joy.
