COURAGE - How to venture beyond your safety zone

Have you ever struggled to take the next step in a task because you felt that you were out of your safety (comfort) zone? Having the personal courage to take action can be very challenging when you fear the unknown. However, sometimes we don’t put our next steps into perspective. Nigel Vardy’s story can help. Nigel is a mountaineer, motivational speaker and author. One who suffered severe frostbite whilst climbing on Mt McKinley in Alaska, which led to the full amputation of the toes on both of his feet and the majority of his fingers. “My niece says I have feet like a teddy bear,” he laughed. Today, he defies logic and is still climbing even achieving a British first climbing the highest peaks on the world’s seven largest islands despite his injuries and a fear for heights. Join us to find out more about Nigel's story and his views on courage and overcoming the fear barrier and the many lessons he has learned during his inspirational career.
