Kathryn interviews Chamin Ajjan LCSW, author of “Seeking Soulmate: Ditch the Dating Game and Find Real Connection”. Ajjan offers a fresh perspective on looking for love, using a friendly, funny, and informative approach to apply evidence-based theories of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness meditation practice to the negative behaviors, thoughts and patterns that cause dating distress. Kathryn also interviews former police officer and teacher Pardeep Singh Kaleka, author of “The Gift of Our Wounds: A Sikh and a Former White Supremacist Find Forgiveness After Hate”. In 2012, Kaleka’s father was murdered by a white supremacist. At the same time, co-author Arno Michaels who had founded one of the world's largest skinhead organizations was striving to leave his racist life behind. These two men have come together on a mission to stop hate, to move beyond violence and tragedy to find common ground.
