"QUIET: The Power of Introverts" and "What's Wrong with My Family?"

Kathryn interviews NYT Bestselling Author Susan Cain on her book QUIET: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking. A self-titled introvert herself, Harvard graduate Susan Cain argues that our culture holds a bias towards extroverts while undervaluing the strengths of introverts. Cain has appeared on CBS This Morning, NPR, and her work has appeared in The Oprah Magazine and on the cover of Time. Kathryn also interviews APA Fellow Dr. Gary Malone and Award-winning Writer Susan Mary Malone on their book What's Wrong with My Family?. According to the Malone brother-and-sister co-authors, family issues are at the heart of almost all of a patient's problems. Dr. Gary Malone is an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern with more than 30 years of experience in hospitals and private practices. His sister Susan Mary Malone is an award-winning writer and editor.
