Join Steve Steele and Ernelita Dacumos this week on "The Leader's Edge" as they delve into the impactful work of RJ Johnson in the episode titled "Cycle Breakers: Faith meets Therapy." RJ expertly combines therapeutic techniques with personal growth experiences, drawing from his own transformative journey. As the founder of Not My Will Ministries, he is committed to raising awareness about the significance of prison outreach and reminding incarcerated individuals that they are valued and not forgotten.
Through his signature workshops, RJ empowers both incarcerated individuals and community groups—such as churches and men's organizations—to discover their true identities, live with purpose, and embrace personal freedom. With a powerful story reflecting the changes he experienced during his seven-year incarceration, RJ approaches his mission with openness and honesty, encouraging society to engage with this often-overlooked area of need.
Tune in this Thursday, August 14th, at 11 am PST, 1 pm CST, and 2 pm EST on "The Leader's Edge," available on the VoiceAmerica Media Network Business Channel.
RJ Johnson
RJ is passionate about proclaiming that God is still in the miracle business, bringing hope to the church behind bars. Writing under the pen name Luke Chance, he authored God Doesn't Waste a Thing, a powerful testimony of the miracles he witnessed while serving 7 of a 20-year prison sentence.
Having experienced God’s transformative power firsthand, RJ founded Not My Will Ministries to pursue two missions: to awaken the community to the need for prison ministry and to remind incarcerated men they are loved and not forgotten. He boldly challenges society to step into this overlooked mission field.
Through his signature workshop, RJ teaches both incarcerated individuals and community members—including churches and men’s group—how to discover their God-given identity, live with purpose, and embrace a life of freedom through Jesus Christ.
Living with transparency and vulnerability, RJ invites others to do the same—beginning with accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior.
