Mary Blue: Using Herbalism to Promote Health and Healing

Mary Blue: Using Herbalism to Promote Health and Healing

Mary Blue is the founder of Farmacy Herbs as well as an author, organic farmer, and community herbalist. Her book, Herbal Foundations, contains an overview of herbal actions, information on herbal medicine making, healing techniques and more. Mary will discuss how herbs can empower individuals to take control of their health and healing process, the connection to nature, how it can be used with conventional treatments, can lead to personal growth and a deeper understanding on one’s ancestral lineage. She will mention how herbalism provides a comprehensive approach to health, addressing physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of well-being. She recognizes how herbalism focuses on long-term wellness and disease prevention rather than just treating symptoms. By studying and using herbalism, Mary believes that individuals can gain a deeper understanding of plant medicine and its potential to support overall health and well-being.
