The Sacred Ego

In the first half hour Patricia will be joined by Jalaja Bonheim, PhD author of “The Sacred Ego”, where the core myth of popular spiritual culture is tackled and the root causes of illnesses that afflict our collective psyche and points out remedies to heal. The myth of the ego is supposedly responsible for our greed, selfishness and violence. Bonheim will discuss the sacred function of honor ad gratitude. br In the second half hour, Patricia will be joined by Elizabeth Koehler Pentacoff author of “The Missing Kennedy”. Koehler-Pentacoff details the relationship her aunt, Stella Koehler (Sister Paulus Koehler), had with the legendary Kennedy family, and particularly that of Rosemary, to whom Sister Paulus was caregiver for 35 years. Elzabeth will share the joys and the heartbreak of Rosie’s struggle with developmental disabilities, her father’s consequential decision to have her lobotomized, and the Kennedy family’s continuing efforts to advance the lives of those with special needs.
