Victory, as the decades-long battle to free Lolita, the killer whale, has finally resulted in the decision to release her from the Miami Seaquarium. Lolita was violently captured more than half a century ago, ripped from her pod in 1970. Now 56 years old, she is to be returned to her home in the Pacific Northwest.
