September is world Alzheimer’s month and a great reason to talk about cognitive health issues that many people face. Statistics show that 1 in 3 seniors dies with Alzheimer’s or dementia. Today ‘s guest is Betsy Wurzel who acted as caregiver for her husband Matt after he had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Maria and Betsy talk openly about living as caregiver with a person who has Alzheimer’s and many ways she and her son took care of her husband Matt.
