I’ve been listening to this podcast for almost a year now. The conversations are thought provoking and helpful. The hosts do a great job of giving lots of details without talking about just one type of student or school. Highly recommend this podcast!!

Great podcast. Makes the college application process understandable. Lots of good tips.
I’ve been listening for over two years and feel so well prepared for my kids’ (twins) college application experience. A great mix of basics and in-depth guidance. Wide variety of topics, with great advice for both selective and highly selective colleges.

Professional advice
I listen to this podcast every week, sometimes go back to the old episodes for a better understanding of what pertains to my children. The hosts provide a great deal of valuable information which helps put my mind at peace. Have a better idea of how the college application process works reduces the level of anxiety I used to feel. Also, whenever I had questions, and posted them on their Facebook page, I always received a reply, as well as getting my questions answered on the podcast. I just cannot thank the hosts enough!

A cure for my parental anxiety
I would be lost at sea without this podcast. As a parent of a junior for the first time, and a British ex-pat, I have no idea about anything when it comes to the college system.
This podcast is like a kind and experienced friend holding my hand and telling me it is all going to be ok.
Every episode is informative, and even if I think that the topics of discussion won’t be relevant to me, there is always something in the episode that applies.
So valuable, and I would recommend to anyone going through this process for the first time.

Take control of the college process!
I’ve gained so much knowledge! Thank you!!! I knew I had to educate myself on the college process. My husband and I didn’t attend college. My husband is a Marine veteran and has been able to inspire our rising junior to see the world beyond high school but that isn’t enough. I’ve been listening to this podcast for the last two years and feel confident about the start of this upcoming junior school year! I cannot thank you all enough! I feel like you all are my friends. Looking forward to continue listening/learning. So many changes around the corner!

Nice variety of topics

The best college admissions podcast!!
This podcast has been a tremendous help both personally, assisting my son and professionally in my career as a school counselor. Every episode has great, practical tips for students, parents and counselors. The guest speakers are very knowledgeable and it’s an enjoyable listen.

Really enjoyed the podcast
I find these podcasts very informative. They don’t drag on forever and topics. You tackle several topics and questions in one program which I think is fabulous.The podcast aboutBabson and business schools was really informative really great. Especially since that’s the school that my son is interested in I really enjoyed it thank you and keep them coming

Updated review
I started listening to this weekly podcast a few months ago, as my son is a sophomore. This podcast has really helped calm my anxiety regarding college admissions and finance, through their in-depth knowledge that is packed with details. This was a crazy admissions year (particularly for the UC’s.) It’s unclear if the trends this year will continue, but I’m confident that these college coaches are on top of the latest information. I have learned so much and their book recommendations are excellent. I especially appreciate Elizabeth’s calming voice.

Podcast that takes you from panicked to prepared
Very happy to have discovered Getting In when I did. At first, I was a casual listener when I tuned in at the start of the pandemic with a sophomore and 7th grader. Now I look forward to new episodes every week and feel far less overwhelmed than I did a year ago. We’re well into junior year, and my son and I have been able to pace ourselves as we research schools and consider all the invaluable advice and information from experts and speakers on the podcast. It’s actually been fun to look into the buyer and seller schools and think about exciting options for schools that hadn’t been on our radar previously.

Truly Indispensable Resource
This podcast was SO valuable a couple years ago to help me support my son with his college search and with my daughter getting into her ED1 college last weekend I can assure you it helped a lot this time too. I will also say this podcast is very responsive to FB messages, they would answer back with info and included my questions in a couple podcasts too. Very informative
I really enjoy this podcast. It is super informative and helpful, with a wide variety of topics. My son is a high school junior and this is a great podcast to learn all about the admissions process and funding college.

The help you need is here!
Although our oldest of 4 is a senior in high school and we are new to this whole college application thing, we feel confident that what we have learned from the college coaches will help us invaluably now and into the future. Maybe if all goes well I can change the four stars to five! Without their help and knowledge, we’d be swimming in a wide ocean of options and confusion and I think now we feel very hopeful we’ve found land! Thank you!
