PaYs off! No waste of time here
This podcast is the best by far. I’ve listened to many different college related podcasts and this is the one I kept returning to. The topics are current to the processes in admissions and very informative. I’m grateful to have found it and have already shared so many episodes with friends.

Good stuff!
I’ve been listening to College Coach Conversation weekly for three years and I’ve learned so much! I felt like our family was able to find our 2019 graduate the perfect school for him using all of the knowledge gained from my time listening to the podcast and now we are at it again with our 2021 daughter. Highly recommend. Well worth listening every week!

Wealth of knowledge
I have boy/girl twins that are 2021 seniors and have been listening to the podcast for about a year. It’s been very informative and every week there has been at least 1 topic that is applicable. It has really helped me guide my current seniors to narrow down choices, write essays and navigate this crazy SAT/ACT year. Thank you team.

Listen, learn, and pay it forward
I began listening about 3 years ago, when our oldest was in 11th grade. So much to learn, and this is the place to learn it. College admissions is different than when current parents of high schoolers applied, and it is most certainly not like most people think it is now. I frequently correct friends’ errors, myths and misunderstandings about admissions and financial aid, based on what I’ve learned from this podcast. Highly recommended, even if you think your kids have good guidance counselors at school.

Love love the great content efficiently delivered
Thanks to all of the experts on this podcast. I’m serving as my son’s counselor (along with his school GC) and received so much great information. I hardly can believe it’s free. I also really appreciate that they take questions from their social media accounts. Highly recommended!

Must Listen!
I listen to this podcast faithfully every week for the last 2 years as I helped my older son though his college application process. Now, I’ll be listening for my younger one as he starts high school this Fall.
The information presented is honest, direct to the point, and most importantly, incredibly helpful. I especially love the Listener Questions segments. Keep up the good work!

The best...
I like to be informed so I’m listing to a few different college prep podcasts. This one is my favorite by far. I like the format of having different speakers/ topics. It makes it easy to break up listening if needed. Every speaker is very knowledge and I learn something new every episode - including the archived ones

A great resource for parents and teachers alike
I have been a high school teacher for sixteen years, and I am now also the father to a High School Junior. I have been listening to the podcast for about a year now (gring through the previous episodes as well), and I am so grateful to be able to have the knowledge and experience of the hosts and guests availible to me (and everyone else) through this format. I've learned a lot that I can turn around and use both as a teacher who writes recommendations and advises students as well as a father who is now beginning to face the complexities of going through the process with my own child. I highly recommend this podcast, and I commend and thank the College Coach staff for their thoughtful and generous contributions.

Valuable podcast
Elizabeth and her network of college counseling professionals offer actionable advice that meets the needs of the full spectrum of students and families. I have been listening for several years and have saved a number of these shows. I have also forwarded several to my teenage son. Great job helping us navigate the complicated and stressful process.

HUGE HELP
I feel so fortunate to have found this podcast! I have two boys in high school, junior and a senior. This podcast has educated us and made the process less stressful! I was less anxious, which helped my son with his stress. When he hit the last submit button on the common application he said, “mom, that really wasn’t that bad.”. He applied to six schools and I am happy to report that he has been accepted to 5 and waitlisted at 1. He has options and we are thrilled! Also a shout out to Shannon V for the helpful financial aid advice. I can’t recommend this podcast enough. Thank you for reaching out to the broader community!

Wonderful Hosts, Very Informative
If you are navigating the college admissions world, get the straight talk from THE experts. These folks were Gatekeepers at highly selective colleges so they know how the admissions and financial aid systems works. Avoid the many (‘I have heard”) myths traded among parents, College Coach hosts and their guests know when and how, “It depends.” And it is all delivered in a fun and entertaining way. Thanks!

Excellent resource
Listening to this podcast has put me (a future-college parent) at ease about the intimidating process for my kids. I feel prepared to walk into meetings with my kids’ guidance counselor and recognize how to find the most value in different activities that will prepare them for applying to college, and beyond. I also appreciate that I am learning to take some steps back so that my kids aren’t overly stressed.
